When you Irish dance you repeat movements over and over again, working the same muscle groups, repetitively strengthening these muscles. With Irish dancing you get a great cardio workout. Your heart rate and blood flow increases, which burns off fat and improves your cardiovascular health.

The first part of the class is for the beginners, which runs in a 6 week block.  During this time we will have completed at least 6 ceili dances and one full set dance.  As the beginners get more confident, they are encouraged and welcome to stay on for some of the improvers class, which runs for the reminder of the night. You don’t have to be a brilliant dancer or bring a dancing partner.  Watch a video
